まだまだ、収束が見えないコロナウイルス。これから、夏にむけ気温が上がるわけですが、マスク、正直、したくありません。ですが、新生活様式としてマスクの着用が定着しています。ここ岩手県でも感染者はいなくても、みなさん着けています。テレビでも流れていますが、心配なのは熱中症です。マスクは暑いですが、マスクの中は保湿されていて、喉が渇きずらく水分不足になりがちになるらしいです。特に高齢者の方は、温度感覚が年齢とともに鈍くなるらしく、水分をあまりとりません。人間に一日必要な水分は約２ℓと言われています。普段から２ℓを目標に水分を取りましょう。
さて、岩手県は、なぜ感染者が０なのか様々な説があります。①人口密度が低い。②県民性。③検査件数が少ない。どれも確かにということはありますが、納得できるものはありません。住んでいる我々でさえ、「何故なんだろう？」と思ってるぐらいです。①の人口密度でいえば、TVで歌舞伎町の映像をみてもあんなに人が集まるのはこちらでは、お祭りぐらいで、普段、夜歩いていても、人とすれ違うことはあまりありません。（私の地域の話です。）②の県民性、岩手県人はやはり根が真面目なのかもしれません。感染者０なのに、マスク着用率95％以上といってもいいぐらいです。逆につけてないと、「えっ、何で着けてないの？」という顔でみられます。それに、不要不急の外出はしていないと思います。③検査件数ですが、感染リスクが基本、ないわけですから、検査数も少なくて当然。ということで結局は感染者0の理由は誰もわかりません。やはり、神がかってる。目に見えない何かに守られている。そう、岩手県の偉人、

この話を聞いた時、「なんて神秘的なんだ。」「本当にすごい人だ。」と思うと同時に鳥肌が立ちました。賢治が亡くなる直前に言い残した言葉として、
「経埋ムベキ山」（きょううずむべきやま）
という言葉が手帳に遺されていたという話です。私はこの話を調べ、賢治の偉大さを実感しました。人それぞれの見解はあると思いますが、私は宮沢賢治さんのおかげで感染者0でいるのでは？と思います。
コロナウイルス、収束に向けて日々、頑張っている皆様に感謝をし、1日でも早くマスクをつけなくていい普通の日常に戻れることを祈ります。
